Saturdays are Beautiful

Dan had a presentation on Saturday for a day Rutgers calls Rutgers Day. There's a lot of tents up on all the campuses, and people serve food, at a cost, of course. It was really funny because I teach little kids at a learning center, and I saw my ex-co-worker there, which was really weird because she doesn't plan on going to my college, but yeah. It was cool. I wore studded high-waisted shorts that I made myself, a gray cropped tank top that I bought at Forever 21, a hooded vest that was also purchased at forever 21, my cherry red Doc Martens, my John Lennon shades that I got online (I don't really remember the site name), and a flower crown that my friend made for me so I can look like a faaaaiiiry on adventures. I don't have pictures of my outfit, but even with the short-everything, I was sweating because the sun was so big and bright.

This is an electronic car that was on display at Rutgers Day. I don't know details about it as well as Dan, but I have pictures, and all I know about it is it costs $139,000. Pictures taken by Dan.

We came back from Rutgers Day and took a break because it was so hot outside. Dan's roommate, Kevin, told us that Cook Campus at Rutgers University was really nice. So we headed out there. This is a picture from New Jersey Folk Fest. The only picture I have. Right after I took this picture, I bought myself some blueberry Italian ice. It was so good and refreshing for $3. I shared it with Dan. It was pretty big for $3.

I don't have a picture of my whole outfit because I decided to take pictures after the festival, but here is what the flower crown looks like on me.

Maybe this summer I'll be able to take more pictures of outfits and stuff, but for now. It's crunch time to study for finals and finish last projects.

Friday, I have a friend coming to the apartment because it's her boyfriend's semi-formal. So I'll be doing her hair and make-up. So, stay tuned for that!

Reality

So my life isn't that much of an adventure... Maybe we just need to wait for summer.

Well, not much happened, but I decided to have a Dan Brown marathon, kind of.

"Angels and Demons" didn't actually work out... No subtitles.

My friend since 8th grade came to visit me at Dan's apartment. We went to a delicious restaurant around campus called "Noodle Go Go". Weird restaurant name, good food.

The day after was a load of boredom. I think I literally slept half the day away.

Let's start with a doodle-kaboodle.

And woke up to go to Maggiano's with Dan and my mom. She kind of had an argument with my dad... Those kind of things that I don't want to get involved in... Just because it'll die down in 1 - 2 days.

So Dan and I got to the mall early and just walked around. Eventually, we left because on Sundays the mall closes early... Weird.

He wanted to sleep. His exact words after I took the picture was, "Did you get the drool?"

That's how bored we were.

Well, hopefully this summer will be better than... whatever is going on.

All I can say is, finals are coming up, and we need to study, study, study.

"Kids, why don't you play outside?"

I think this is pretty self-explanatory...

Dreary Days

I have a free day today! One of my classes was cancelled, and it was the only class I have on Wednesdays. So I woke up really early this morning and car-napped my boyfriend's car and went to the park at 9 in the morning to smoke a cigarette. The clouds were a bit dreary, but it gives the affect of a dramatic movie.

Now it's a beautiful day, and I think it's time for an adventure... If people are willing to go with me.

Well, the weekend ended, and I'm back to cramming for school.

Doodle Adventures

Hmm... So our little adventure didn't really happen, but I had dinner with my parents.

I was driving on Death Valley, last night.

We were driving in the rain on a steep slope to pick up my friend. We still had an adventure.

Woke up and drew many doodlies.
