A Black Dirty Halloween

This is early, but this past weekend, Dan and I went to his brother's band's Halloween party.
It was pretty awesome.
Our friend, Nathan met us up there, who Dan thought wouldn't have made it.

This was my costume...

This was Dan's costume...
He was my heavenly slice of mushroom-pepperoni pizza. (My favorite, not his)

The lead singer went as a bah-nah-nah.

Someone went as... this.
Haha. This was a pretty scary pose.

I thought this was a pretty cool picture of my wings.

This was as close as I could get to Black Dirty.

Bath & Body Works Mini Haul

I love candles, but I like sweet and fruity scents.
Here are two candles that I bought.
Now, Dan's room smells like marshmallows, and I feel like I could eat the air.

Dan's studying, I'm procrastinating.
Mr. Walrus... is creepin'.

An Update!

It has been a very long time since I last posted an update!
Luckily, I'm procrastinating on studying for an exam I have tomorrow...
Hmm... I should be studying.

Well, I've been to California last month for a very personal matter.

I was surprised by some very weird things...
Like cows... and very high gas prices.

I tried something new at this place called Garden Cafe... Never been there before either.

And I tried this drink called Spanish Coffee...
It was pretty good (and probably fattening). It's basically just iced coffee with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

The last picture I took was of this very creepy moment I had on my last night there.
Very spooky.

One thing I would never leave California without is a small stock of...
I. LOVE. THESE.

Let's not forget...
I have finally upgraded my basic phone and joined the world of smart phones...
This means, no more hogging my boyfriend's phone all the time.
I actually have two cases now. This one and a bunny one that I never took a picture of.
I must say, it is SO much easier having a smart phone than a basic phone... for good purposes like finding my way around the city when I have to go there for class, looking up words that I do not understand, and playing lots of fun games... which isn't good.

My friend works at a cupcake store in a mall close to my house. The bakery is called Crumbs Bake Shop. She got me one of the best cupcakes I've ever tasted.
Cookies N Cream. YUM!

Also, this month, Dan's mom's dog gave birth to 12 puppies! Unfortunately, 3 did not survive, and his mom was devastated. There were a lot of problems, but now they're doing their best to keep the 9 puppies alive.
I just came back from their place, and it seems like everything will be just fine.
(FYI: The most Dan's mom ever had to take care of was 8. So 12 was quite a handful and very difficult for the mommy.)

Along with my new phone, I decided to get new Dr. Martens. They are so pretty and shiny.

I normally wear black flats to work with some plain black pants and whatever sweater I could find.
I wore these boots and everyone loved them.

I also tried something new with my nails.

I also went to this new place called Gotham City Diner.
I got me some yummy lobster ravioli.Batman.

For my class, we had to meet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
I never go anywhere in New York without my parents or my friend and guide, Sharon.
That building on the left... Yeah, that pretty one with the balcony and red tiles... I would totally live there.

Then we went to the Islamic Cultural Center of New York City because... well, this was my Islamic Art & Architecture class.
This is the mihrab...
And this was a corner of the women's prayer room... separated with a curtain.
Look at those tiles! I love intricately detailed things.

I also went to see Gravity in this cool theater where ALLLL the seats electronically reclines.

So Halloween is coming up...
Here's a hint of what I'll be for Halloween. This crack in the window looks like wings.

Now, I know it's been a while since I posted, but I was going to post something at the beginning of October: A belated first day of school outfit.
I took pictures of myself with my camera that I got in July, which I only got to use ONCE in Baltimore.
I was SO upset - like I-need-to-kill-someone upset.

On the weekend of my 1 and 1/2 year anniversary with Dan, I decided to bring my camera to his house and take some pictures. Unfortunately, I left it at his new room.
When I came back, my camera was missing. It was right on the couch, ON THE COUCH! I come back, and it's MISSING!!!
I flipped the room upside down, searched my whole house, and searched his whole house. It was gone.
We ended up reporting it to the police, but it's still not there.
That camera was pretty pricey... about $700, including the camera, a lens, the bag, and two memory cards I purchased.

It still hasn't shown up yet, so I'm still pretty upset about it.
Let's just put it this way. This past month, starting from September 11, has NOT been good for me.

So you all know I have a bunny, Sammy. His picture was on my first post ever on my blog.
Well, due to my being extremely occupied with school, my parents decided to give him away to a student of my dad.
These were two of the last pictures I posted of him
on Instagram.

This picture was a picture that I took on the drive to my dad's student's place.

I've asked my dad to ask his student if I could get some weekly photos of him.
She created a Flickr album of his photos for this week. He's so fluffy and cute. I miss him so much.

So... that's the update. Once again, sorry for not posting. I've been pretty busy. I'll try to post more often of other stuff. Most likely, very soon, with Halloween coming up and everything.

Wish me luck on finding my camera and midterms!
And a good luck to all of you in having a great month!
Till next time!
